Privacy Policy

Last updated September 22, 2026

This policy explains what information Vectyx LLC (“Vectyx”, “we”, “us”) collects through our website at vectyx.com (the “Website”), why we collect it, and what you can do about it. If you have a question, write to us at hello@vectyx.com.

Who we are

Vectyx LLC is a software company in Richmond, Virginia, USA. We control the personal information described in this policy.

The short version

  • The Website has no accounts and no forms.
  • We use Google Analytics to count visits.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

Information we collect

The Website is a static site hosted on Vercel. We collect:

  • Usage data through Google Analytics 4. This includes pages you visit, the referring site, approximate location (from your IP address), and browser and device type. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers to tell visits apart.
  • Server and security logs through Vercel. Vercel processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the Website from abuse.
  • Email you send us. If you write to hello@vectyx.com, we receive your email address and whatever you put in your message.

Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so loading them does not send your information to a font provider.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Run, maintain, and improve the Website.
  • Understand how people use the Website, in aggregate.
  • Answer your questions.
  • Protect the Website from fraud, abuse, and security threats.
  • Meet legal obligations.

We do not build advertising profiles or make automated decisions with legal or similar effects on you.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Website, and only as much as they need:

  • Vercel hosts the Website and protects it from attacks.
  • Google provides Google Analytics.
  • Our email provider delivers messages you send us.

These providers may only use the information to provide services to us. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, sale, or reorganization of our business. In that case, this policy will continue to apply to the information that is transferred.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics sets cookies to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The Website works the same without them.

How long we keep information

  • Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, which is no longer than 14 months.
  • Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to answer you and keep reasonable records.

We may keep some records longer when the law requires it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be accessed without permission. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.

Children

The Website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have about you and get a copy of it.
  • Correct information that is wrong.
  • Delete your information.
  • Get your information in a portable format.
  • Opt out of sale, targeted advertising, and profiling. (We do none of these.)
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it.

These rights come from laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), and the European Union and United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will honor reasonable requests from anyone, wherever they live.

To make a request, email hello@vectyx.com. We may ask for information to confirm your identity before we act. You may use an authorized agent with proof of authority. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.

We will answer within 45 days, or sooner if the law requires. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with “Appeal” in the subject line. We will answer your appeal within 60 days. If you are in Virginia and disagree with the result, you may contact the Virginia Attorney General. If you are in the EU or UK, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different data protection laws than yours. When we transfer personal information from the EU, the UK, or other regions with transfer rules, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will post a notice on the Website before it takes effect.
